Navel Healing Tips
In order to have your navel piercing heal correctly, you'll want to keep your belly ring clean. One recommended way of doing this is by using Ocean, a saline spray that's available online or at your local piercer's. In the morning and at night, spray your ring thoroughly, then move it gently to get rid of any crusts. (Don't turn it for about 4 weeks.) Dry the area carefully with a soft cloth (pat, don't rub). Don't use alcohol, or ointments on your piercing, it's not needed if you keep it clean in this way. Your navel piercing should be healed in about 3-12 months. Allow your piercing to heal fully before trying to change any jewelry, and always return to your piercer or go to a doctor if you believe you may have an infection in your navel piercing.
