Answer(s) to this Question (

)
Navel Piercing and Muscles
Navel piercings are piercings through the skin directly above the belly button. They don't go through muscle and therefore shouldn't affect any areas of your stomach besides your skin. If you pierced yourself, or had someone inexperienced do the piercing, you might need to go to a professional piercer to see about letting the area grow shut before having it re-pierced correctly. Piercings should never affect the function of the muscles in the area pierced.
